Excell Basic: Simple Math Operation

In my first sharing, I decided to post a simple and very very basic feature on excell. it is Basic Mathematical Operation, such as addition, subtraction, division and multiplication, just like calculator did. In my opinion, excell doing easier and more simple in use as basic math operation than the Calculator program from windows :D.

do you know how to operate calculator? for example, you want to doing addition for 5 + 2.
in calculator program, you must type the following format:

5+2=

and you will get 10 for the answer.
the difference beetwen Calculator and Excell is the equal symbol. if you want to operate it in excell, they must be like this:

=5+2

here are the other examples:

=5+2+3+4
=2-5-6-2
=4*2/4

In MS Excell, the "=" symbol is used for making a Formula. every formula you will type in, you must start it with "=" symbol. the operation symbols are same as Calculator. it's "+" for addition, "-" for subtraction, "/" for division, and "*" for multiplication.

in conclusion, you can process data and perform basic mathematical operations at the same time just simply by Excell. just simply select one cell, start with typing =, then type your operation, and finally, press enter.
